About Us

IAMJAIE was created in 2020 by Janay Morton. The passion and love for candles began as a teenager growing up in Brooklyn, Nyc. I have invested in so many different candles over the years that I decided to handcraft my own for family, friends and myself. The intention was to bring peace and promote self care to those closest to me during such an ambiguous, uncertain time in ALL of our lives. I was given great feedback that I decided to share my craft publicly. I had no idea that a simple DIY would turn into a business. Self care and Self Love is the focus for IAMJAIE.
